Moisés Caicedo forced off pitch during Chelsea match

Chelsea midfielder Moisés Caicedo suffered physical discomfort during a 4-3 victory against Brighton at Stamford Bridge. After entering the match in the 68th minute to replace Pedro Neto, Caicedo was forced to leave the pitch approximately 14 minutes later.

Chelsea manager Xabi Alonso expressed concern regarding the Ecuadorian player's condition, noting that Caicedo requested to be substituted because he did not feel well. Alonso stated, “We hope it is not something new and not worse than last time. He was prudent to stop, his sensation was not the best, but we have to evaluate.”

The club is awaiting official medical evaluations to determine the extent of the discomfort. This development is particularly concerning as Caicedo had recently returned from previous physical issues that caused him to miss the first two official matches of the season.
