Municipalities launch urban maintenance and infrastructure programs

Various municipalities in Brazil and Portugal are implementing urban maintenance and infrastructure programs. In João Pessoa, Seinfra has launched an 'Operação Tapa-Buraco' to repair pavement across 50 neighborhoods, alongside drainage network maintenance and cleaning of storm drains.

In Salvador, Limpurb is conducting the 'Operação Bairro no Grau' in Mussurunga, involving over 50 professionals in street sweeping, mowing, and the collection of bulky waste to prevent disease vectors. Similarly, Marília is executing the 'Operação Cata-Treco' in its northern zone to collect large, unusable items like old furniture and appliances.

In Portugal, the Moita Municipal Council is carrying out road rehabilitation and repaving works across several locations, including Sarilhos Pequenos and Alhos Vedros, to improve traffic safety and circulation. Additionally, maintenance works are being conducted in Jardim Marangá and other regions to improve urban infrastructure and drainage.
