Police exhumed the grave of RG, a 35‑year‑old technical policy analyst at the Kejari (District Attorney Office) of Mojokerto, on 31 July 2026. The exhumation took place at the public cemetery in Dusun Lenggi, Suruh village, Sukodono sub‑district, Sidoarjo Regency, East Java, after RG’s husband requested an autopsy citing suspicious circumstances surrounding his wife’s death.
RG had been buried on 10 June 2026 following a hospital admission for stomach pain. Four police diggers opened the grave, and a forensic team from the regional police began an autopsy on site to determine the cause of death. Authorities have not yet released the autopsy results or a definitive cause of death, and the investigation continues.
