MOL Group expands operations in Serbia and Libya
Serbian Minister of Mining and Energy Dubravka Đedović said the signing of a shareholders' agreement with MOL concluded Serbia's part in the negotiations over the Naftna Industrija Srbije (NIS) sale. She expressed hope that Gazprom Neft and MOL will reach a purchase agreement that satisfies the U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control, ensuring continuous crude oil supplies to the Pančevo refinery and supporting Serbia's energy security.
MOL Group also secured a 20% participation in Libya's offshore Block O7 in the Mediterranean, joining a consortium led by Spain's Repsol (40%) and Turkey's TPAO (40%). The production‑sharing contract moves the project into a new development phase, aligning with MOL's strategy to diversify sources and maintain at least 90,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day over the next five years, further expanding its presence across ten countries.
