Molde FK defeats Tromsø IL to reach fourth place

Molde FK secured a 3-2 victory over Tromsø IL, a result that moves Molde into fourth place in the Eliteserien. This position grants the club qualification for the Conference League next season.

Tromsø faced significant challenges during the match after goalkeeper Jakob Rønning-Haugaard was forced to leave the pitch in the first half. His replacement, Ole Kristian Lauvli, conceded a penalty shortly after entering the game, which Eirik Hestad converted to give Molde the lead.

Although Heine Åsen Larsen equalized for Tromsø after the break, Oskar Spiten-Nysæter quickly restored Molde's advantage. Trent Kone Doherty extended the lead to 3-1 during stoppage time, before Ieltsin Camoes scored a late goal for Tromsø. Despite the loss, Tromsø remains in third place, seven points ahead of Molde.
