Moldelectrica restores Bălți–Dnestrovsk power line

The state enterprise Moldelectrica has successfully repaired and re-energized the 330 kV Bălți–Dnestrovsk high-voltage overhead power line. The line had been severely damaged by a violent storm on August 6, which affected approximately ten high-voltage pylons in an area roughly 15 kilometers from Bălți.

To restore the line, technicians replaced damaged pylons, repaired support and fastening elements, and replaced damaged insulators to ensure proper insulation for the 330 kV voltage class. Crews also repaired conductors by fixing broken or deteriorated sections and restoring mechanical integrity. Following the repairs, the line underwent rigorous technical testing and compliance checks before being reintegrated into the transport network to ensure reliable electricity supply.
