Moldexpo to Build Modern Sakura Alley Connecting Exhibition Complex to Valea Morilor
Moldexpo has launched a project to rehabilitate and modernise one of the main access avenues of its exhibition complex. The plan is to transform the lane into a sakura‑lined promenade equipped with modern lighting, urban furniture and recreational spaces, creating a direct link between the Moldexpo grounds and the nearby Valea Morilor area.
The institution announced that a tender for the construction works will be issued shortly. Director Zinaida Popa said the aim is to revitalize a neglected zone, make it attractive for the community year‑round, and provide facilities for sport, leisure and social gatherings. The project also includes a representative entrance gate, an extended pathway to the perimeter fence, and a modern drainage solution to address water and mud problems near the fence, with the Chișinău municipality beginning the necessary works.
