Moldova and Argentina discuss expanding bilateral cooperation

Moldovan Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mihai Popșoi, met with Argentine Ambassador Carlos Alejandro Poffo in Chișinău to discuss strengthening bilateral relations. The discussions focused on expanding cooperation across several sectors, including economy, trade, energy, agriculture, and culture.

Minister Popșoi expressed Moldova's interest in deepening ties with South American nations and expanding its diplomatic presence in the region. Key topics included the potential liberalization of visa regimes for ordinary passport holders to stimulate tourism and economic contact, as well as advancing a bilateral agreement in civil aviation. Ambassador Poffo reaffirmed Argentina's interest in developing these relations, noting the potential for Argentine investment in Moldova.
