Romania and Moldova launch 2026‑27 high‑school admission rounds

Romania’s Ministry of Education opened the computerised admission phase for the 2026‑27 school year on 13 July. Candidates in all counties must complete their option sheets between 13 and 20 July, after which the national allocation takes place on 22 July. Results are published the same day and applicants submit enrollment documents between 23 and 28 July. The process emphasizes correct ordering of preferences and warns that errors or too few options can prevent placement.

In Moldova, the Ministry of Education and Research started the first stage of its admission contest on 13 July, running until 27 July, with a second stage from 3 to 14 August. More than 13 700 seats are offered across 308 licee, including over 5 700 places in Chișinău. The e‑Școală platform allows applicants to submit up to three school choices online, and special provisions aid Ukrainian refugees and Roma students. Both countries stress transparent, digital procedures and provide detailed calendars for the upcoming admission cycle.
