Chișinău International Airport disrupted by bomb threat

Operations at Chișinău International Airport Eugen Doga were disrupted on Thursday morning following a bomb threat. The alert, which occurred around 04:30, prompted the evacuation of passengers and staff, as well as the suspension of check-in procedures.

Specialized units from the Ministry of Internal Affairs conducted security checks at the site. Authorities later confirmed that the threat was a false alarm. While airport activities have since resumed under normal conditions, some flights experienced delays as a result of the incident.
