Moldova civic movement reports low implementation of PAS election promises

The Moldovan civic movement ‘Construim înCREDere’ has released a monitoring report assessing the implementation of the governing Action and Solidarity Party’s (PAS) electoral commitments one year after the 2025 parliamentary elections.

According to the report, titled ‘One Year After the Parliamentary Elections. Where Are We?’, only 18 of the 325 sectoral commitments, or 5.5%, have been fully implemented between September 28, 2025, and September 28, 2026. When including partially completed or nearly completed commitments, the figure rises to 8%.

The assessment indicates that 17.2% of commitments have not yet entered the implementation stage, while 26.5% are progressing slower than necessary, with 47 of those described as significantly behind schedule. Additionally, the movement noted that 61.5% of the original commitments lacked specific figures, deadlines, or required legislative acts.
