Moldova develops crisis resilience guide 'The First 72 Hours

The National Crisis Management Center is finalizing a resilience guide titled ‘The First 72 Hours’ as part of the national ‘Moldova Prepared’ program. Over 500 representatives from authorities, civil society, the business community, and the media participated in public consultations to shape the document.

Participants recommended that the guide use simple, practical language to ensure clarity during emergencies. Key suggestions included instructions on securing basic necessities, maintaining emotional balance, preparing children, and adapting materials for individuals with special needs.

The guide is expected to be released in the second half of November. Stakeholders requested that the document be distributed to schools, hospitals, pharmacies, libraries, and non-governmental organizations to ensure widespread accessibility.
