Moldova expels six foreign nationals in illegal migration investigation

Six foreign citizens, aged 21 to 46, were expelled from Moldova on 3 June as part of a criminal investigation into an organised illegal‑migration network. The individuals are among a group of ten foreigners targeted in a case concerning attempted illegal border crossings. Their removal follows authorities’ efforts to disrupt the suspected trafficking operation.

The expulsions were carried out under Moldova’s legal framework for combating organised crime and irregular migration.
