Moldova hosts international scientific conferences on biotechnology

Academic institutions in Moldova recently hosted significant international scientific gatherings focused on biotechnology and natural sciences.

At the Moldova State University, the 9th edition of the National Conference ‘Natural Sciences in the Dialogue of Generations’ brought together over 500 researchers from 17 countries. The event featured 534 scientific works representing 78 universities and research centers across three continents, highlighting advancements in genetics, biotechnology, and neuroscience.

Additionally, the Nicolae Testemițanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy hosted a scientific-practical workshop titled ‘Innovative Techniques in Medicinal Plant Biotechnology’ under the FORCE_FARM subproject. This event involved specialists from Moldova, Romania, Italy, and Poland, facilitating collaboration between the academic community and the pharmaceutical industry.
