Moldova launches European Week of Sport with BeChallenged Run

More than 285 children and young people participated in the BeChallenged Run on September 19, marking the official opening of the 2026 European Week of Sport in the Republic of Moldova.

The event focused on promoting inclusion and equal access to sports, including the participation of 50 children with special needs from Rain Children. Participants utilized adapted routes based on age and fitness levels and engaged in interactive challenges and social activities.

Organized by CGP Moldova with institutional support from the Ministry of Education and Research, the program aims to build an active community through monthly sporting events. Upcoming activities for the week include orienteering in Călărași and a family festival featuring various physical challenges and team competitions.
