Moldova men's table tennis team wins first Balkan Championship

The Moldova men's national table tennis team has secured its first-ever Balkan Championship title. The competition, held in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, saw the squad—consisting of Vladislav Ursu, Andrei Puțuntică, and Cezar Cozmolici—advance through decisive victories against North Macedonia and Kosovo.

After defeating Romania 3-1 in the semifinals, the Moldovan team faced Serbia in a closely contested final, ultimately winning 3-2 to claim the championship. This achievement follows the team's recent historic qualification for the main draw of the World Team Table Tennis Championships in London.
