Moldova Nouă City Hospital to undergo 20 million lei renovation

The Moldova Nouă City Hospital outpatient clinic is set to undergo renovation and modernization through a European-funded project valued at over 20 million lei. The project, part of the Health Program, aims to significantly improve medical services provided to patients by the end of 2027.

According to hospital manager Sebastian Pătroi, the works will focus exclusively on the clinic and will include renovating spaces, replacing carpentry and lighting, and installing new flooring. Technical documentation is currently being finalized, with construction expected to begin as early as this autumn.

In addition to structural renovations, the project includes the acquisition of new medical equipment. Following the completion of the works, the facility will be equipped with a new CT scanner, a mammograph, an X-ray machine, several ultrasound machines, and gastroenterology equipment.
