Moldova property owners have until October 31 to contest cadastral revaluation

Property owners in Moldova have until October 31 to review and contest the results of the mass cadastral revaluation conducted by the Agency for Geodesy, Cartography and Cadastre (AGCC).

During this one-month period, citizens can request corrections to the technical characteristics of their properties. Ivan Danii, Director General of the AGCC, clarified that requests can only be made to modify technical characteristics, not the cadastral value itself. Once technical data is corrected, the cadastral value will be adjusted accordingly.

Results can be accessed online via the geodata.gov.md geoportal or through the EVO government portal. Alternatively, owners can check in person at local cadastral services or town halls. After October 31, no further appeals regarding these evaluations will be accepted.

Starting November 1, the new values will be sent to local authorities for tax calculation purposes, and the updated values will officially take effect on January 1.
