Moldova provides compensated treatments to 126,000 circulatory disease patients

In May, more than 174,000 people in Moldova received medicines and medical devices with cost compensation through the eRețeta electronic prescription system. Among them, about 126,000 patients were treated for circulatory system diseases, making this group the largest beneficiary of the compensation programme.

The data were reported by the national health authority, highlighting the scale of public support for chronic vascular conditions and the continued use of eRețeta to streamline reimbursement.

No further policy changes were announced, but the figures underline the importance of the compensated‑treatment scheme for a significant portion of the Moldovan population.
