Moldova records 84,000 border crossings in 24 hours

In the past 24 hours, Moldova’s state border was crossed by 84,173 people and 15,441 vehicles, according to the Border Police. The busiest crossing was Chișinău International Airport, where 27,061 people were recorded, followed by the Leușeni checkpoint.

The data highlights a surge in cross‑border movement, with all major entry points showing high traffic volumes.
