Moldova reports over 12,000 job vacancies nationwide

The National Employment Agency (ANOFM) has announced over 12,000 job vacancies across Moldova. Approximately 93% of these positions are located in urban areas, while 7% are in rural regions.

Among the available roles, 1,892 require higher or post-secondary education, including positions for engineers, accountants, economists, doctors, managers, and teachers. Another 5,627 roles are for those with technical secondary education, such as electricians, welders, drivers, and mechanics. The remaining 4,498 positions are for individuals with primary or middle school education, covering roles like auxiliary workers, security guards, and cleaners.

Bălți, Chișinău, Strășeni, Ungheni, Briceni, and Edineț are among the cities with the highest number of vacancies. ANOFM director Raisa Dogaru noted that more than 15,000 people have been employed through the agency since the beginning of the year. Employment services provided by the agency are free for both the unemployed and those seeking to change jobs.
