Moldova, Romania and Ukraine sign joint declaration to combat transborder crime

On 10 June, officials from the border police of the Republic of Moldova, Romania and Ukraine signed a common declaration aimed at strengthening cooperation against trans‑border criminal activity. The ceremony, held during the 34th anniversary of Moldova’s General Inspectorate of Border Police, was attended by Ukrainian ambassador Paun Rohovei, a delegation of the State Border Service of Ukraine led by Major General Valerii Vavriniuk, and representatives of the Moldovan and Romanian border police.

The declaration commits the three countries to deepen partnership, improve joint operations and share information to curb illicit cross‑border activities, reinforcing public security along their shared frontiers.
