Pre‑tax profit rose to 53.2 billion lei, a 26% increase over the previous year, with profit per employee reaching 1.43 million lei (up 15.1%) and average profit per SME 7.6 million lei.

The wholesale and retail trade segment comprised about 31% of SMEs, producing roughly 253 billion lei (45% of total SME revenue). Agriculture showed the strongest profit growth, tripling from 1.4 billion to 4.4 billion lei, while real‑estate and construction also posted notable gains. The number of energy‑related SMEs rose by 26.1%, the fastest growth among sectors.
