Moldova sets national record for largest cheese at Moldagrotech exhibition

A new national record for the largest cheese in Moldova was established during the Moldagrotech and Farmer exhibitions held at Moldexpo. The cheese, weighing approximately 30.7 kilograms, was produced by a family from Cahul using roughly 150 liters of sheep milk.

To promote local producers and Moldovan gastronomic traditions, the massive cheese was lifted into the air using an agricultural drone. The event, organized in partnership with the National Farmers Federation, aimed to highlight traditional products such as cheese, polenta, and wine. Visitors at the exhibition were able to sample the product.
