Moldova signs two cooperation agreements with Ukraine's Herson region

The Republic of Moldova is deepening ties with Ukraine's Herson region through two new partnership agreements. The municipal council of Cimișlia approved a cooperation pact with the united territorial community of Belozersk, while the Technical University of Moldova sealed an academic partnership with the Herson State Maritime Academy.

The agreements were signed by Rector Viorel Bostan of the Technical University of Moldova and Rector Viktor Gusev of the Maritime Academy, with diplomatic support from Moldovan Ambassador Victor Chirilă and the Baltic‑Black Sea Economic Forum. The deals aim to foster collaboration in local administration and higher‑education research, expanding the broader Moldova‑Ukraine relationship.
