Gheorghe Hagi announces Romania squad for Nations League

Gheorghe Hagi has announced a preliminary 48-player squad for Romania's upcoming UEFA Nations League campaign. The squad is being prepared for a series of four matches scheduled between late September and early October, including fixtures against Sweden, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Poland.

Among the notable selections are five goalkeepers, including Ionuț Radu, who is expected to start the campaign. The list also features foreign-based players such as Otto Hindrich and Valentin Cojocaru from the Polish league, as well as several players from the domestic championship. The final squad will be determined closer to the team's assembly on September 20.
