Moldova-UAE parliamentary friendship group strengthens cooperation

Renato Usatîi, president of the Our Party and leader of the Moldovan parliamentary friendship group with the United Arab Emirates, held a working meeting with UAE Minister of Foreign Trade, Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, in Dubai. The meeting focused on establishing cooperation objectives and priorities for both nations.

Following the initiative of the Moldovan Parliament's XII Legislature, a similar parliamentary friendship group has also been established within the United Arab Emirates. Usatîi stated that this development is expected to provide new momentum to bilateral relations.

In addition to diplomatic meetings, Usatîi is participating in the Cyber Diplomacy Forum held during GISEC GLOBAL 2026. The forum brings together government representatives and experts from various nations, including the United Kingdom, Germany, Estonia, and Israel, to discuss artificial intelligence safety, critical infrastructure protection, cybercrime, and digital sovereignty.
