Moldova Youth Forum gathers 500 young people in Holercani

The fifth edition of the Moldova Youth Forum took place in Holercani, bringing together over 500 young people from across the country. Held under the theme ‘United by Values: democracy, freedom, community, resilience’, the event focused on connecting the younger generation with decision-makers to discuss national challenges and potential solutions.

President Maia Sandu participated in a workshop, engaging with attendees for nearly an hour. She emphasized the importance of resilience as the capacity to face abnormal situations and urged youth to protect themselves and stay involved in decision-making processes.

Discussions covered a wide range of topics, including global warming, war, and information warfare. A significant portion of the debate centered on technology and artificial intelligence. President Sandu advised that while AI is a tool, young people must maintain critical thinking and intellectual discipline, warning against the temptation to let technology replace the difficult process of learning.
