Moldovan cities encouraged to bid for European Capital of Culture 2033

Cities in the Republic of Moldova are being encouraged to submit candidacies for the title of ‘European Capital of Culture 2033’. To qualify, any locality may propose a candidacy provided it presents a clear cultural vision, a feasible program, and a long-term impact on the community.

The national competition serves as the initial stage to select Moldova’s official candidate for the European-level competition. Interested cities must submit their files, in either electronic or physical format, by October 4.
