Romania and Moldova report multiple fatal accidents and poisoning

Multiple fatal accidents and a poisoning incident have been reported across Romania and Moldova.

In Romania, several high-impact road accidents occurred, including a head-on collision on DN 67 in Vâlcea that killed a 25-year-old man and two 17-year-old girls. Another fatal collision on DN 26 in Galați resulted in the death of a 56-year-old woman. Other incidents involved a vehicle hitting a stationary truck in Bihor and a collision between a Mitsubishi and a tractor in Moldova's Rîșcani district, which killed a 58-year-old driver.

In Moldova, a 48-year-old man died and a 73-year-old woman was hospitalized in Cantemir after inhaling carbon dioxide during wine fermentation in a cellar. Authorities have issued warnings regarding the dangers of gas accumulation in poorly ventilated spaces during the fermentation process.
