Moldovan experts criticize PAS legislative actions

Sociologist and IMAS Director General Doru Petruți has criticized the PAS ruling party, describing its legislative approach as a “legislative emptiness.” Petruți suggested that the party attempts to change laws when it lacks sufficient votes to make desired appointments.

Additionally, former European Court of Human Rights judge Stanislav Pavlovschi emphasized that judges and prosecutors in Moldova must rely exclusively on facts and apply the law accordingly. These comments follow instances where the Constitutional Court declared certain legislative modifications unconstitutional, leading to discussions regarding a lack of accountability among officials.
