Moldovan government appoints new heads for key state agencies

The Moldovan government has announced a series of leadership changes across several key state agencies. Elena Țîbîrnă, formerly the general director of the National Social Insurance House (CNAS), has been appointed to lead the State Tax Service (SFS), replacing Olga Golban. Țîbîrnă brings 25 years of experience managing a budget of over 50 billion lei.

Other major appointments include Ion Dodon, the former director of the National Health Insurance Company (CNAM), who will now lead the Public Property Agency (APP). Andrei Uncuță, a medical doctor and former secretary of state at the Ministry of Health, has been named the new director of CNAM.

Additionally, Radu Musteață has been appointed to lead the Agency for Intervention and Payments in Agriculture (AIPA). Musteață, who previously served as the Minister of Agriculture and Food Industry for a two-day period before resigning, aims to modernize the agency to meet European Union standards and manage the Common Agricultural Policy instruments. The government described these moves as a rotation of experienced managers intended to transfer expertise and improve institutional efficiency.
