Moldovan institutions host youth groups for diplomatic and civic education
Moldovan state institutions have hosted various groups of students and young professionals to promote civic engagement and diplomatic education.
At the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Vice-Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mihai Popșoi met with over 60 students participating in the Moldova Model United Nations 2026 project. Popșoi emphasized the importance of negotiation, dialogue, and compromise skills for future careers in diplomacy, the private sector, or public service. He also highlighted the country's strategic goal of European Union accession and the necessity of youth involvement in the integration process.
Simultaneously, the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova opened its doors to numerous student groups, including participants from various excellence centers and high schools. These visits allowed young people to observe the legislative process and engage in discussions with deputies regarding law adoption and public life. The visitors included local students as well as international guests from France, Germany, Belgium, and the United States.
