Moldovan Parliament rejects opposition requests to hear ministers

The ruling PAS majority in the Moldovan Parliament has rejected requests from opposition deputies to hold hearings with several government ministers.

Socialist Party (PSRM) deputy Inga Sibova sought an audience with Infrastructure Minister Vladimir Bolea regarding the failed tender for the expansion of Chișinău International Airport. The request follows a decision by the National Agency for Solving Complaints to re-evaluate the designated winning bid. Minister Bolea previously stated that the procedure was suspended due to multiple complaints.

Additionally, opposition members from the 'Our Party' faction requested information concerning delays in various road infrastructure projects, including the G39 road and the Drochia bypass. The parliamentary majority also blocked inquiries related to alleged state pressure on the airline FlyOne.
