Moldovan PM Vasile Tofan Says He’ll Stay Until 2029

Prime Minister Vasile Tofan told viewers on the programme “Secretele Puterii” that he intends to serve his full mandate, aiming to remain in office until September 2029. He stressed that he does not view the premiership as a stepping‑stone and will not pursue other political positions.

Toilet he said he would resign only if he concluded that he was not having an impact, stating, “Dacă voi înțelege că nu am impact și că ţara ar putea fi servită mai bine de altcineva, atunci cred că trebuie să am decenţa şi respectul pentru oameni să plec.” He added, “Am toată determinarea să îmi duc mandatul până la capăt.”
