Moldovan woman arrested in Tarquinia for stalking a former colleague
A 40‑year‑old woman of Moldovan origin was taken into custody by the State Police of the Tarquinia Commissariat after a former coworker repeatedly reported harassing behavior. The victim had filed several complaints with both the Tarquinia police station and the Civitavecchia public prosecutor, describing persistent, psychologically damaging actions.
On 25 June, the victim called the emergency number 112, prompting a police patrol to intervene at her workplace. Officers reviewed internal CCTV footage, identified the suspect, and executed a delayed‑in‑flagrante arrest. The prosecutor of Civitavecchia ordered the woman to be placed under house arrest pending further legal proceedings. The reports also reiterated the presumption of innocence under Italian law until a final conviction is rendered.
