Moldova's Moldatsa appoints Vasile Șaramet as interim administrator

The State Enterprise for the Use of Airspace and Air Traffic Services “Moldatsa” has named Vasile Șaramet, former director of the Civil Aviation Authority, as its interim administrator. The board made the appointment after the resignation and suspension of the previous administrator, Dumitru Vangheli, whose term ended following investigations into alleged abuses and falsified résumé claims about pilot training and experience with Air Canada.

Șaramet will lead Moldatsa during the transition period until a competitive selection process for a permanent administrator is organized. His appointment was presented to Moldatsa staff by Ion Ciumac, deputy director general of the Public Property Agency.
