Moldova's ODA grants over 90 million lei to 383 firms, creating 1,300 jobs

Since the start of 2026, Moldova's Organization for Enterprise Development (ODA) has allocated more than 90 million lei in non‑repayable grants to 383 local companies. In the second quarter alone, ODA disbursed 67.85 million lei to 275 enterprises, bringing the cumulative amount to 91.38 million lei.

The supported firms now employ roughly 1,300 people, and the investments are expected to generate about 800 additional jobs. The processing industry receives about one‑third of the funding, followed by agriculture (18%) and the information‑communication‑technology sector (15%). Grants are financed from the state budget, the European Union’s Reform Agenda for Moldova, the World Bank Group, Germany’s BMZ and Switzerland’s government.

ODA’s deputy director Vadim Indoitu said the programmes aim to boost Moldova’s competitiveness and job creation directly.
