Molecor installs 2,000‑panel solar plant in Spain; Nuevo Laredo adds 890 panels to cultural centre

Molecor has commissioned a 2,000‑module photovoltaic plant at its production site in Alcázar de San Juan, Spain. The system is expected to generate about 2,200 MWh per year, covering roughly 20 % of the facility’s electricity demand and avoiding more than 600 t of CO₂ emissions annually. The project supports Molecor’s climate strategy aimed at net‑zero emissions by 2040.

In Nuevo Laredo, Mexico, the municipal government invested over 20 million pesos in a solar‑energy system for the city’s Cultural Centre. The installation includes 890 solar panels and 750 × 620 W modules, projected to cut the centre’s electricity consumption by up to 50 %. The upgrade also added new HVAC equipment and exterior bathrooms for athletes using nearby facilities.
