Molfetta hosts Ismene to conclude Sotto il Cielo dei Miti festival

The theatrical production ‘Ismene’ will conclude the ‘Sotto il Cielo dei Miti’ festival on September 3 at 21:00 in the Chiostro della Fabbrica di San Domenico in Molfetta. Organized by Teatrermitage with artistic direction by Vito d’Ingeo, the event marks the regional premiere of the play.

Written by Ghiannis Ritsos and translated by Nicola Crocetti, the production is a SantaRita & Jack Teatro creation. Directed by and starring Elena Arvigo, the monologue explores a contemporary interpretation of Ismene, focusing on themes of care, responsibility, and an unconventional form of heroism. Arvigo has been nominated as Best Performer for the 2026 Premio Le Maschere del Teatro Italiano for this role.

The festival is part of the ‘Luci Diffuse’ program organized by the Municipality of Molfetta.
