Molina de Aragón launches regional meat seal at livestock fair

Molina de Aragón recently held its fourth Livestock Fair, an event designed to promote extensive livestock farming as a key economic driver and environmental guardian for the Alto Tajo landscapes. Organized by the Global Nature Foundation and the local Tourism Office with support from the Junta de Comunidades de Castilla-La Mancha, the fair featured the official launch of a new regional seal for extensive meat.

This new certification, promoted by the Association of Extensive Livestock Farmers of the Molina Region, aims to certify and market lamb and kid meat produced in the area under strict sustainability and traditional management criteria. The event also included educational workshops on traditional crafts such as wool dyeing, cheesemaking, and natural soap production, alongside culinary demonstrations of local recipes.
