Molino de Alcuneza offers Michelin-starred dining in a 15th-century mill

The Molino de Alcuneza, located in the municipality of Alcuneza near Guadalajara, has established itself as a prominent destination for gastronomy and lodging. The establishment is housed in a 15th-century stone manor and flour mill situated near Sigüenza.

Originally a significant flour mill in the Henares region, the property was purchased by the Moreno family in the early 1990s to be restored as a residence and functional mill. Following renovations, it opened as a boutique hotel with 11 rooms. In 2006, Samuel and Blanca Moreno took over management, with Samuel serving as chef and Blanca as director.

The venue joined the Relais & Châteaux association in 2014. Its restaurant, led by chef Samuel Moreno, earned its first Michelin Star in 2018 and has maintained its culinary distinction since.
