Molins opens first U.S. factory in Oklahoma

Molins has inaugurated its first production plant in the United States, located in Elk City, Oklahoma. Operating under the Escofet brand, the facility specializes in urban landscape and public space solutions.

The approximately 3,000-square-meter facility aims to serve markets in the United States and Canada. By producing locally, the company intends to reduce delivery times, optimize logistics, and better adapt to regional customer demands. Currently, North America accounts for roughly 6% of the brand's turnover; Molins aims to increase this share to 30% through this expansion.

CEO Marcos Cela stated that the new factory brings production capacity closer to customers to strengthen competitiveness. The plant will initially produce eight product references, with the potential to employ up to 50 workers as industrial activity grows.
