Molise Democratic Party demands urgent action on healthcare and labor

The Democratic Party (PD) group in the Molise Regional Council has called for urgent action from the regional government to address several unresolved issues affecting local citizens.

In the healthcare sector, the party highlighted critical shortages of personnel, the need for better oversight of private services funded by public resources, and long waiting lists. They also raised concerns regarding territorial medicine, specifically the implementation of Community Houses and the lack of pediatric services in Agnone, which has been left without a pediatrician since 2023.

Regarding employment, the group pointed to the ongoing crisis at Stellantis, noting that over 1,700 workers in Termoli will remain under solidarity contracts until August 2027. The party is also seeking clarity on infrastructure and transport projects managed by ANAS and RFI.
