Molise Journalists Order and CNSAS sign emergency communication pact

The Molise Journalists Order and the regional service of the National Alpine and Speleological Rescue Corps (CNSAS) have signed a three-year agreement in Isernia. The convention aims to improve the operational capacity of journalists during natural disasters or rescue operations in rugged environments.

Under the agreement, journalists will gain access to the CNSAS satellite network for data and voice communications via mobile operating centers. This connectivity is intended for use in areas where terrestrial telecommunications are unavailable or saturated. Both organizations emphasized that the timely dissemination of verified information is essential for public safety and collective security during civil protection events.

The partnership also includes a commitment to professional training. At least one annual event or seminar will be organized to cover topics such as communication during health emergencies in difficult terrain, information management during rescue operations, and accident prevention in mountain and underground environments.
