Molise region launches digital employment platform SIL
The Regional Government of Molise introduced the new Sistema Informativo Lavoro (SIL Molise), a 24/7 online platform that consolidates all regional employment services. Developed with Deloitte and Webgenesys, the system integrates job offers, public employment centres and accredited operators, and complies with national authentication standards (SPID and electronic ID). It aims to simplify access to job listings, improve matching between demand and supply, and enhance data security.
At the same time, the region hosted the cast and crew of the film *Salute!* – the first feature shot entirely in Molise. Regional Tourism and Culture delegate Fabio Cofelice highlighted the project’s potential to showcase the region’s landscapes, boost local businesses such as La Molisana, and strengthen the newly created Molise Film Commission as a driver of cultural and economic development.
The regional council reconvened with a reshuffled Giunta, bringing in Armandino D’Egidio and Roberto Di Baggio while opposition parties criticised the new lineup. Lawmakers debated a proposal to increase health‑care funding, which was rejected by a 11‑7 vote, underscoring ongoing tensions over the administration of the region’s health system.
Finally, the Tourism and Culture department announced a series of meetings on a micro‑receptivity grant programme, detailing eligibility and application procedures for small‑scale accommodation operators. The three‑session cycle will run from late June to early July across Campobasso, Termoli and Isernia, aiming to foster tourism‑related entrepreneurship in the region.
