Molise regional council reviews labor safety and hiring bills

In the Molise region of Italy, several legislative initiatives are moving through the regional council. The Democratic Party (Partito Democratico) has introduced a regional bill titled “Provisions for quality of work, contractual regularity and protection of working conditions in public tenders within regional competence.” The proposal aims to prevent low-cost bidding and contract dumping in public works to ensure worker safety and fair wages.

Additionally, the regional council is considering a bill to extend the rankings of public competition results for permanent administrative positions within the Molise Regional Health Agency (ASReM). Separately, a proposal has been reviewed regarding the recognition of off-balance sheet debt related to the renewal of regional bodies.
