Molly Hatchet to release first studio album in 16 years

Southern rock band Molly Hatchet has announced the release of 'Lost Horizon', their first studio album in 16 years. The 12-track album is scheduled for release on November 27 through Steamhammer.

The band recorded the project at London’s Abbey Road Studios, specifically in Studio 2. Guitarist and songwriter Bobby Ingram noted the significance of using the same studio and microphones used by The Beatles. The album features long-standing members John Galvin and Tim Lindsey, alongside new recruits Garrett Ramsden on drums and Parker Lee on vocals.

In preparation for the release, the band has unveiled the lead single 'Dixie Highway' and is planning a United States tour, with performances scheduled across states including Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Michigan, and California.
