Molly Martens announces pregnancy following Jason Corbett case

Molly Martens, convicted of the voluntary manslaughter of her husband Jason Corbett in North Carolina, is reportedly pregnant with her first child. The pregnancy involves her new partner, Josh Parrott.

Jason Corbett was killed in 2015, an event that led to the conviction of Martens and her father, though those convictions were later overturned. Following a plea agreement in 2024, Martens was released from prison after serving approximately four years.

Jason’s children, Jack and Sarah, have responded to the news publicly. Sarah Corbett Lynch stated that she cannot separate the news from the history of coercive control and abuse experienced during her childhood. Jack Corbett expressed that while he has no interest in Martens’ life, he hopes the child is born healthy and protected from the harm they endured.
