Molslinjen cancels Fanølinjen ferry departures for emergency drill

Molslinjen has announced several ferry cancellations on the Fanølinjen route due to a full-scale emergency preparedness exercise scheduled for October 28. The drill will involve multiple emergency services, including police, fire departments, ambulances, and sea rescue teams.

As a result of the exercise, capacity will be significantly reduced around midday. Specific cancellations include departures at 11:10 and 11:30 from both sides of the crossing. From Esbjerg, the 11:50 and 12:30 departures are cancelled, while from Fanø, the 12:10 and 12:50 departures are removed from the schedule.

Between 11:50 and 12:50, only one ferry will be in operation on the route. Normal service with two ferries is expected to resume from 13:10.
